Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how CarbonCode ("we," "us," "our"), operated by Tomas Ramirez as a sole proprietor, handles information when you use the UTCal mobile application (the "App") on iOS and watchOS. We built UTCal to work entirely on your device, which means there is very little to tell you about data collection — because we collect essentially none.

1. Summary

UTCal does not require an account.
Your calibration data and settings are stored on your device and never transmitted to us.
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or crash-reporting services.
In-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple — we never see your payment information.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

2. Information we collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on our servers. The App operates entirely on your device.

The only data UTCal stores is the calibration data, setups, and preferences you create — and that data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export or share it yourself using iOS sharing features.

3. In-app purchases

UTCal Pro is available as a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple via the App Store. All payment processing is handled by Apple. CarbonCode does not receive, process, or store your payment card number or any other payment information. For purchase history and billing inquiries, contact Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

4. Apple platform services

By using any App Store app, Apple may collect certain usage and diagnostic data as described in Apple's Privacy Policy. This is governed by Apple, not CarbonCode. You can review and manage Apple's data collection in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

5. Third-party services

UTCal does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, social media, or crash-reporting SDKs. No data is shared with third parties by the App.

6. Data retention

Because we do not collect data, we have nothing to retain or delete on our end. Your on-device data can be cleared at any time by deleting the App from your device.

7. Data security

Your data remains on your device and is subject to iOS security features, including device encryption when your device is locked. We recommend keeping your device and iOS up to date.

8. Children

UTCal is a professional NDT tool not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will address it promptly.

9. Your rights

Since we do not collect or store personal data, there is no data for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. If you have questions about data Apple holds, refer to Apple's privacy request process at privacy.apple.com.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
